Bleach Manga???!
Question: Bleach Manga!?!?!?
Does the Bleach manga that you buy in America (The one that is up to Volume 22) follow the exact same story as the anime!? By that I mean do all of the events happen and in the same order and do all the fights (even the minor ones) in the anime happen in the manga as well!. The anime has "additional" scenes, dialogue, etc!. thrown in - I guess to fill the 20+ minutes of airtime!.
There are also what they call "fillers" where the script writers of the anime add a whole different arc or story!. The Bount Arc is an example!. They add "fillers" to give time for the manga to move on - accumulate more chapters, so the anime wouldn't catch up to the manga story line!.
It would be quite impossible for the manga/anime to be showing the same story both at the same time!.
BTW, "fillers" IMHO, are what ruins a perfectly good anime, just take Naruto!.!.!.

Expect all the fights in the manga appear on the anime (with embellishments of course) but don't expect all the fights in the anime appear in the manga!. You will notice, as you read the manga, that anime script writers tend to draw out the scene, by adding more dialogue of slant the story somehow!.
I find that it's better to read the manga, than watch the anime!. The fellow above was right, there are instances when you would just want to smack the writers for botching Bleach!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, there are many things in the anime that do not occur in the manga, even though the anime is based off the manga!.
Actually, the entire bount arc was made just in the anime, and not the manga!.
They do this so the author of the manga can continue with the story, and not have the anime get ahead of the manga!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

well seeing as though noone has answered,I guess ill take a crack at it!. To be honest I dont believe the american titles have the same line up as the japanese books!.The japanese artists tend to get more creative and hide stuff from us over here!.They only give us the basics!.Stingy arnt they!?
