Question: Anyone know what the color of Krypton's sky is!?
I'm talking about Superman's home planet, Krypton!. What color is the sky!? Is it blue like ours or some other color!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Way back before Crisis on Inifintie Earths and the DC reboot, there was a series called World of Krypton, and the sky was red!. I don't know if they've changed it since then, but you can't go far wrong if you stick to the original!.
In fact, there was a story, The Death Trails of Krypton, about an atmospheric phenomenon called the Trails of Trolius (Trolius being the mythological god of the sky!.)
A child asked his father where the Trails came from and why they were only found in the sky above a particular valley!. The father answered, "You might as well as me why the sky is red!"
But the comic showed us the real cause of them!.
Centuries ago, a minerologist found crystals that emitted a powerful energy [NOT Kryptonite, this was before the planet exploded]!. They were plentiful under the crust in a particular valley, and the underground pressure was so great, they forced their way up through the soil in geysers of solid crystals!. He realized he could use the crystals to power a set of wings!. (They had an engine that would flap them, but it needed a power source!.)
He put it all together and he could fly!. But there was an unexpected side effect!. They left a trail of glowing green radiation through the sky!. He saw a bird fly through on eof the trails and it disintegrated! Then he realied how harmful the radiation was!.
But a criminal had seen him on his test flight and decided to steal the wings, which would make him an unstoppable thief; he could get into any walled city to rob it and escape without the guards being able to track him!.
So he clobbered the inventor and stole them!. When the inventor recovered, he saw the thief flying around, learning how to use the wings!. So he came up with a ruse!.
He ran out with a bag holding his life savings in coins and gems and hollered that he would give it all for the wings back!. The thief heard him and decided to kill the man and steal his omeny and keep the wings!. He swooped in toward him!.
The minerologist hit the ground with his bag of coins, so hard the ground ruptured and the crystals came shooting out! This knocked the thief silly and he was easily able to take the wings back!.
But he knew he shouldn't fly any more, because eventually the entire sky would be filled with them and planes would run into them and be disintegrated!. He was afraid they would be used as a weapon until the whole atmosphere was polluted!.
So he rigged up a remote control and sent the wings-- the only prototype-- flying to disintegrate themselves in the Trails, so nobody would ever find them and learn how to make more!.
I forget the mineorlogists name, but I think he turned out to be one of Superman's ancestors!.
