Question: Heroes season 1 question about Peter!?
If Peter could absorb other people's abilities, why wasn't he able to absorb the rest of Sylar's abilities!? (like freezing, liquifying, extra memory, etc) Or is it that Sylar would have had to use those abilities before Peter could absorb them!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the third answerer may have something!. When Peter absorbs an ability, first note that he is not taking it away from the person who has it (like Rogue, in X Men)!. It is more like he is imitating it or emulating it!. (This implies that anybody with the extra genes [the portion of DNA symbol] can gain any and all abilties!.)
also, he has to be able to remember his emotional state when he first saw the ability being used!. That is the key to him being able to do it!.
So Peter must be able to witness the ability used, recognize it as a power and thenlater be able to recall how he was thinking and feeling at the moment inorder to be able to use it!. If he wasn't paying attention or if he was in shock, he might not be able to use some abilities!. He might have to try to re-acquire them later!. (I don't know if that is possible)!.
also, if there is a possibility of being able to track Sylar down, I don't believe that Sylar could necessarily recognize Peter if he was disguised!. So he might try to get close to Sylar later just to copy his powers!.
I could certainly see Sylar trying to get Peter, since if he could absorb powers without having to cut people's heads open, it would make him more flexible, more dangerous!.

according to me, sylar hides or blocks its abilities before that Peter absorbs them!.!.!.
