Question: What is the best sub group for: Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2!?
I intend to finish the first season tonight, and I wish to know who is the best group for this series!. That way I can get releases from the best when they are first available!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I like gg's subs, I can't really judge how accurate the translation is though!.
As for speed, so far Chihiro has always been the first to release, then gg releases somewhere around a few hours after Chihiro, then Eclipse sometime after gg releases!. Syndicate & Menclave are a few episodes behind, if they weren't I'd probably be watching their release!.
If I were you I'd go with either gg or Eclipse, both seem fine so I don't think you can really go wrong with either!. And the raw is the same (http://forums!.somethingawful!.com/showthr!.!.!. )!. AniDB scores for Eclipse and gg's CG R2 subs are exactly the same now (when I checked earlier today Eclipse was 0!.01 higher than gg IIRC)!.

Groups subbing R2 in English that've released all 11 episodes out so far are: Chihiro (speedsub group, haven't watched their R2 release myself but gg and Eclipse release a few hours later after Chihiro), gg (subbed season 1 too, releases a couple hours after Chihiro), and Eclipse (releases after gg)!. Syndicate & Menclave are a few episodes behind, and other groups have only released the first episode or 2!.

I've only watched gg's release so I can't really choose, if I were you I'd read through comments to choose which group's subs you want to watch!. What you consider good subs might be different from what others consider good subs, like some people care about speed, not just quality, and fancy karaoke and stuff like that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
