Any recommendations for new anime movies to watch?!

Question: Any recommendations for new anime movies to watch!?
I am looking to purchase some new anime movies to watch!. I am looking for movies that stand alone, not ones that are based off of series (i!.e!. DBZ and Naruto movies)!. I am looking for something with a really good storyline!.!.!.!.!.something that will keep me interested in the character development and plot!. Preferably, I would like it to have some great action!. Some movies like this that I have already seen and enjoyed are: Samurai X trilogy, Akira, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Spriggan and Now and then Here and There!. Thanks!Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is my favorite Anime movie!. It will be released in theaters this winter~ but you can find it online at Veoh!.com if you want~

Anything by Hayao Miyazaki is great~
also try~ Ninja Scroll and Ghost in the Shell for action

Other movies I would recommend include~
Grave of the Fireflies, 5 Centimeters per Second, Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers, Millenium Actress, The Place Promised in our Early Days

Since you included a series (Now and Then, Here and There), I'll recommend one for you!. Mushishi is my favorite series~ it doesn't have any action, but if you're looking for some really well told stories, this is one you should definitely check out~ http://www!.anime-sub!.com/category/mushis!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbour Totoro, Castle In The Skye, Nausica, Porco Russo, and The Cat Returns are some good ones made by the same company, Studio Ghibli that made Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

--Escaflowne: Girl in Gaia is really good! There is an anime as well but the movie is a totally separate story! It's really awesome! hehe

--Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is also a really good movie! It is based off a game but the animation is amazing! Square Enix is always fantastic!

--Howl's Moving Castle is one of my favorite Miyazaki movies! As always the story is original and the animation is beautiful!

--Clannad: The Movies again this also has an anime but i never saw the anime so i can't say how much alike they are but the movie is so sad!!!

--Voices of a Distant Star it was a little slow for me but you really might enjoy it!

--Vampire Hunter D: BloodLust!. I loved this movie! It is an old one but the story is great and of course D is hot! hahaha

--Blood: The Last Vampire!. This a movie that is from the anime Blood+ but when i first saw it i had no idea that was the case! I just didn't put two and two together! It was a great movie! Try it!

--Girl That Leapt Through Time the ending of this had a very different outcome then i ever expected! I never really liked it but the story was unique and the main character learns a lot of things about herself and others!

--Castle in the Sky is another Miyazaki film!. It is also one of my favorites

--Hoshizora Kiseki!. I haven't seen this yet but it is one that i have been planning on seeing!!

--Gedo Senki!. This is also one that i have yet to see but it looks like a really good one! It is a Studio Gibli film that is directed by Hayao Miyazaki's son! So i expect that it'll be great!

--5 Cenimeters Per Second was a really awesome movie! Highly recommended!.
