How come an anime series is so short?!
Question: How come an anime series is so short!?
ive been searching around for some new anime to watch after inuyasah!. my main turnoff is that they are too short to establish a solid plot!. i thought it was normal for anime to have around 160 episode (inuyasah was the first anime i have ever watched) if anime is so cool, then why do most animes only have about 50 episodes!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

There's something called a budget each anime "producer" has to keep to!. They don't know if the anime's gonna be a hit, so the company (mostly tokyopop) has something like a probation period (it's mostly either 13 episodes or 24+ episodes)!. If it's successful, the anime will have a season 2, which means there'll usually be around 50 episodes!. If it isn't all that popular after the season2, it'll be dropped (famous example: Shaman King)!. If it's still popular after the season 2, it'll be continued and probably follow the manga till the end like inuyasha!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It depends on the story!. if the viewes like the show they will make more episods if they can!. most shows run out of ideas to continue the series or the plot is pretty much done within the little episodes already done!. Have you tried Bleach or Blood+!? Those are way more than just 50 episodes!. But i strongly recomend Eureka Seven!. Even if its just 50 episodes its an awsome anime!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Those are just the ones to watch if your bored if you wanna watch a good long anime you should try One Piece or Naruto and Case Closed is pretty long too with a good story plot
