Okay, it does get formed, Naraku wishes on it, and Kagome gets sucked into the jewel!. She is suppose to make a selfish wish and she will be trapped in it for ever and ever like the last miko, but instead inuyasha gives her hope and she wishes for the jewel to dissappear forever!.!.!.
There is one more chapter in the japanese manga where the conclusion between the love birds will be told!. Most likely they will end to gether!.!.!. yeh!.!.!.!.
