Answers:
No the same pokemon wont do it, it has to be 200 different types of pokemon, the count is based on your pokedex not the # of pokemon in the computer!. so if u train Geodude so it evolve into graveler then evolve to Golem, then u could counted it as 3 pokemon!. but having 3 geodude only would count as 1!.
I hope this will help u on ur quest to be pokemon master ^_^Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, technically, you need to fill the Hoenn Pokédex!. Just getting Kanto Pokémon like Gastly or Ponyta won't do it!. Since Hoenn listed pokémon like Graveler and Kadabra need to be traded in order to evolve, either you'll need someone to trade with or you'll have to use a gameshark to catch a wild Golem and Alakazam!.
Must also mention some Hoenn pokémon only become accesible after defeating the Elite 4 (Skitty, Surskit, Smeargle, Teddiursa, Hoot-Hoot, and a few others in the Safari Zone)!. Even so, there's still another few Hoenn Pokémon that can't be caught in Emerald (like Lunatone for example)!. You'll either have to trade with Ruby/Sapphire or use a gameshark!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
