i guess it can add to the "cuteness" factor, and that type of art has been used for a long time in Japan, Mangakas (graphic novel/comic artist] usually use big eyes to help show the characters personality, usually showing that they are more innocent!. The shape of the eyes also shows personality, not just the sizeWww@Enter-QA@Com
Disney characters also have big eyes I think I read somewhere (Wizard magazine maybe!?!!?) that some Japanese artist inspired by Disney Classics exaggerated that featureWww@Enter-QA@Com
