He was the first major animator to add a soundtrack to his cartoons!. He added color, and made a feature length animated movie!. His characters were some of the first to catch on along with porky pig, daffy duck, betty boop, etc!. He and Ub Iwerks pioneered the photographing of animation!. multi-plane camera (I think that's what it was called!.) it was used on Fantasia, especially Ave Maria!. Not to mention a lot of the Warner guys got their start with Disney!. I think Walter Lanz of Woody Woodpecker fame did too, but I could be mistaken!. The other major animation studio of the time was Fleicher (Popeye, Superman, Betty Boop, etc!.)!. I don't know if they ever worked with or for Disney!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Snow White was the first animated movie, then there's Steam Boat Mickey!. That i believe is the first mickey mouse movie, short or long!. You think of all the animals you can name when you think Disney, tons!.!.!.!.!.plus all the theme parks where they are still coming up with new and advanced technology for animation!. Ever go to Disneyland, remember the Abe Lincoln Center animation show!.!.Amazing! The animators of Disney are the top of the line in their fields!.
