Question: Do you consider this ban worthy!?
Ok i was just in the Eclipse fansub groups irc channel and i asked if they were still going to be releasing the dvd versions of Claymore now that it has been licensed, thats it i didn't ask when i just asked if!.
I was then banned from the room!.

Usually there's a rules trigger or some sort of FAQ on what not to discuss!. I'm guessing you received a temp ban (hours ~ day), unless a lot of people have been hassling them lately (pissing off the Ops) to make bans longer!.
But from what you said, your statement could have been ban worthy under 2 conditions:
-Asking for any knowledge of future releases (Ex: Release dates) !.
-Asking about dropping Licensed series (usually covered in a FAQ on the website or an IRC rules trigger)

No!. Both Shana and Fate/stay night were licensed before they even started airing in Japan, for example!.

You probably deserved it!. Or maybe you didn't!. We're not particularily interested in which, but if you weren't a total asshole that really managed to piss us off, your ban will probably expire in a while!. While you wait, consider your sins and be aware of the fact that intentionally evading channel bans can get you permanently banned from Rizon!. Oh, and PM'ing ops (the one that banned you as well as other ones) is a very good way to get your ban extended!.
--Why haven't you released episode X of show Y yet!!? It's already been Z hours since it aired! DID YOU DROP IT!!?
If we drop something (hasn't ever happened yet in the two years since the forming of the group), we'll make damn sure you know it, so no, we haven't dropped it!. We will release it when it's done (which is probably before most others anyway)!. If you ask about when it will be released, we will delay the release just to f@#k with you!. (OK not really but sometimes some of you guys really make us want to do this!.)

Some of those fansub groups are pretty touchy about stuff once it's been liscensed!.
