Question: Do you find comic book heroes !.!.!.!?
I remember when i was a kid, i was enchanted by comic book heroes like Phantom, Mandrake the Magician, Batman, Superman, X-Men, The Justice League, Flash, Spiderman!.!.
Do you enjoy comic books today!? Or are they something you see as geeky or nerdy!?
I don't enjoy the modern versions, i liked the originals back then!.

I've liked them for as long as I can remember, but they have definitely gone down hill over the years!. I think the 1980's and 1990's comics were excellent!. Comics aren't that nerdy and it shouldn't matter even if they areWww@Enter-QA@Com
I'm almost thirty and I still like to read comic books!. I admit I am an sporadic reader, buying comics only when a story catches my eye, but I do like to know what's going on!.

As for modern versions, I think they are fine most of the time, but sometimes they're not!. For example, Iron Man had been boring as hell but he's been very interesting these last two years!. On the other side, Spider Man was coming out of a long period of sucking with promising new stories, but then something happened and he's now sucking even more than before!.!.!.

I absolutely love reading comics although I won't tell anyone other than my wife!. I think alot of Gen X'ers and older grew up on comics and grow into undercover comic lovers becuase of the social taboo of adults reading 'kid' books!. I've loved reading some of the recent stuff like WANTED, 1602, Annihilation, Secret Invasion, Y:The Last Man, etc!. Now that I'm older, the Batman, Superman and other extreme 'superhero' books don't hold the appeal that they once did although I do occasionally pick up those titles just to see what's going on!.!.!.

comic books rule what happen with me is that as i got older my taste evolved first i would only read marvel then as the evolution started to take place i found myself branching out to dc and its imprints then image and its imprints then i went completely indy now i follow writers (maybe thats because i want to write comics too id like to believe its the evolution tho lol) like brian michael bendis, warren ellis,allen moore, frank perry, mark millar, kevin smith ect!. and from them i find artist i like and even comics that they dont write that i like!.
