Doomsday was created as a living engine of destruction!. He adapts to his enemies and becomes stronger the longer he fights them!.

Supes and He-Man may have met, but in a straight up battle Supes would own He-Man!.

In terms of raw power Superman is WAY off the scale for He-Man!.

Aside from having superior strength - Supes can lift over 200,000 tons (and that was AFTER John Byrne decreased his powers in the 80s) while He-Man is only in the 2 to 5 ton (single digit) range!.

And that's kinda pushing it!. Even the cartoon series, which I still have on VHS, didn't have He-Man go any higher than that!.

also, Supes is invulnerable to nearly any damage
- he can survive in outer space
- fly in space at warp whatever number you wanna apply and travel to distant planets (by HIMSELF)
- he has powerful Heat Vision laser eye-beams that can melt almost anything
- he has a super freeze breath
- he has X-Ray Vision and all his other super senses
- Superspeed

!.!.!. and yadda yadda!.

He-Man only has his stronger than normal human strength, and his sword which Supes would just take away from him and spank him with!.

Like I said!. Supes would own He-Man!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Superman has almost never been depicted as someone who would kill an enemy, and quite a few Superman stories have been written examining that aspect of his belief system!. Doomsday was depicted not simply as some Hulk-ish like creature, but as a being who had adaptive powers which made him essentially immune to being defeated, so "tearing down his flesh" (what a curious and awkward phrase) wouldn't work as you think it would!.

Superman!.com might have a panel or two of the fairly short insert story that was published in quite a few DC comics in January or February of 1980, which featured Superman meeting He-Man!. The two exchanged a few punches and then Superman returned He-Man back to from where he came (or perhaps it was Superman who was displaced and needed help to return to Earth; it has been a long time since I read that insert)!. The insert was actually a rather ambitious advertisement for the upcoming toys!.!.!. excuse me, the insert was actually an advertisement for the then forthcoming action figures and the cartoon series, and was paid for by the producer of the He-Man cartoons!. Superman and He-Man didn't battle long and there was no clear cut winner!. I'm sure that was the only time the two characters ever had a canonic meeting!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
