Question: Help-help-help! Amv-how-to!?!!?
*pants* I'm ok!.!.!.now!.!.!.if you want your AMV to be animated!.!.!.!.tell me!.!.!.give it to me step-by-step!.!.!.you have to download eps!. of course!.!.!.then what!? Strip the voice-track from the eps!? And how do you stick the eps inside your Windows Movie Maker!? And how bout addin' music!? <<*talks like Gin Ichimaru* Zomg!.!.!.I'm confused
Well I have all these videos in my head (that I want to make) but I don't think they can get made at this rate!.!.all I've ever made are vids with screen caps HA

I don't download episodes, personally!. Instead, I rip DVDs!. To do this, you need to install a DVD ripper!. SAGA, #1, and Magic DVD rippers all have free trials and aren't too hard to learn!. But before you do this, you should install DivX on your computer!. This will provide you with all the codecs you could possibly need for AMV making!. However, I prefer to stick with the AVI codec!. It's more common!.
Once you have your episodes and codecs, you need music!. You can just rip a CD for that using Windows Media Player!.
Now, to get all this into Windows Movie Maker!.
All you have to do is click "Import into collections" and click what you want!. Hold shift to select large chunks of files and Ctrl to select multiple files that aren't close to each other!. also, make sure you have the little box at the bottom (that says something about making clips) checked, or you'll have to separate the files into clips the hard way!.
As for removing the sound, there are two ways you can do this!. The first is to click "audio levels" and drag the bar over to "audio from music"!. This will automatically mute all your clips!. The second is to manually mute all your clips by clicking the + next to your timeline and then right clicking the audio from the clips!. This is used in case you want to randomly put in a clip or two that has the sound left in, like for a special effect or at the end!.

If you're making an AMV with windows movie maker, all you need to do is import the video!. Then, whenever you cut an episode or clip down to the size you need and put it into the actual timeline for the video, just go to clips>audio>mute!. To get the clips into windows movie maker, just drag and drop!. And then you take the song you want and add it to the audio part of the timeline!. Honestly, WMV is so easy to use!. well when i do windows movie maker i put the pics or eps or whatever in first then if its just picks put in the music next and its quite easy to do but hard to explain!. i have never used eps so i would not know!. but its easy if you just sit down and play with it and figure it out like i did took me about 5 tries till i figured out how to use itWww@Enter-QA@Com
