Disney's A bug's Life vs. Seven Samuari?!

Question: Disney's A bug's Life vs!. Seven Samuari!?
Does anyone else see the similarities in the two movies!?
Did Disney rip-off the Seven Samuari story!

In Seven Samuari, peasants seek out skilled warrior ronins to help fight off a group of bandits who have been terrorizing and extorting the peasant farmers of their food, crops, and livelihood!.

Bug's life has a group of locusts (instead of bandits) forcing lowly ants (instead of peasants) to give up their food!.
One of the ants goes off to find help and comes back with seven bugs to help fight the Locusts!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well if they did it'd be Pixar not Disney!. At the time A Bug's Life was released Pixar was not owned by Disney!. Anyway the story is not really that uncommon!. Gangsters demanding "protection money" and ect!. Pixar got the idea of A Bug's Life from the store of the grasshopper and the ant!. The ant worked hard all summer and stored up food for winter and the grasshopper played around all summer and had no food for winter!. The grasshopper was left out in the cold with no food or shelter and the ant was safe warm and snug!. Pixar thought about what if the grasshopper wanted revenge!. (I can't remember where I read about this; it was from an article from several years ago!.) The link also compares the story to The Three Amigos which I never actually noticed before!. :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
