Question: Anime Expert Recommendation: Please READ Question!!!!?
I need a new show to watch!. I like the "shonen" type, with action but not all violence and gore, such as Bleach, Naruto and Gash Bell!. Of the 3 I like Bleach the most; I would prefer an older boy oriented show over a kid-oriented show, but not one with more than the necessary token girls-with-gigantic-boobs)!.
As you can see, I prefer the magic / historical type to the futuristic type!. Please nothing super confusing like Fooly Cooly, incredibly drawn-out/full of filler like DBZ, or with an ambiguous ending like Wolf's Rain!.
I am looking for a show that:
1!. Has at least 100 episodes!.
2!. Is FINISHED (no waiting 4 new ones)!.
3!. Is reasonably easy to find online!.

Rurouni Kenshin (95 Episodes)
Ten years after the start of the Meiji Era, a Rurouni wanders into Tokyo to find a new life with new friends!. Vowing never to kill, he tries to escape his past as the Hitokiri Battousai, the greatest killer of the Bakumatsu!.
However, an old menace, in the form of Shishio Makoto, the successor to the Hitokiri Battousai, threatens the peace of the new Meiji Era!. Shishio and his Juppon Gatana are ready to start a new revolution to correct the evils of Western influence!.
Another one (not sure cause I have not seen it yet) is
Hikaru no Go (75 Episodes)
Shindoh Hikaru, a 6th grader, finds an old go table in the attic of his grandfather's house!. He sees some blood stains on the go table, and tries to wipe it off!.!.!. when a ghost dressed in Heian period clothes pops out, and takes over his body!.
The ghost happens to be Fujiwara no Sai, a member of the court during the Heian period!. Sai was one of the two men who was assigned as the go tutor to the emperor!. The other tutor was envious of Sai, and challenged him to a go match -- whoever wins gets to stay as the court's go master!. Sai's opponent cheats during the match, and before Sai could say anything about it, the opponent accused Sai of cheating!. Sai was banished from the court, and because of regret and anger, he committed suicide!. But as with all unrepented souls, Sai was unable to leave the material world!.!.!. until he is able to master go, and get one step closer to "kami no itte," or god's hand!.

I would have reccomended Rave Master, but it was cancelled at episode 52 (the manga is great stuff though!!)!.
Yu Yu Hakusho might fill your criteria pretty well!.
Sincerely, you should request shorter anime!. There's very few anime that have over 100 episodes, period; much less shows of the description you want!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, there is Inuyahsa!.!.!.but it has some romance in it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I would say Inuyasha as well!.!.!. but it is kinda young!. There are not a lot without violence!. One that I love, but does have some violence, is Death Note!. A!.M!.A!.Z!.I!.N!.G!.
I'm taking it that you've read Dragon Ball!. Dr Slump is really good( Akira Toriyama)!. Then, if you're young enough, there's Blue Dragon!. But that's young too!.
Full Metal Alchemist is another one!. They often show it on Adult Swim!. One Piece is also good!. As is BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo!. YuYu Hakusho is another one!. And Hikaru no Go!

I'm taking it that you've read Dragon Ball!. Dr Slump is really good( Akira Toriyama)!. Then, if you're young enough, there's Blue Dragon!. But that's young too!.

YuYu Hakusho is the one for you!
Its remarkably similar in many aspects to Bleach- Bleach may have had some inspiration from it infact! But its also unique, one of the all time greats! 112 episodes and finished (a long time back actually)!.
You should be able to find it easily as well!
NO fillers anywhere in it and very faithful to the bestselling manga! Trust me it rocks!
Similar shows I've enjoyed include Fate/Stay Night, Black Cat, Hunter X Hunter- but those are much shorter! (shortest being Black Cat with 24 or 23 episodes!)Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's placed in the 1800s!. The Elrics' father left shortly after al was born and while ed and al were kids, their mother died!. In an attempt to bring her back from the dead using alchemy, Al loses his body and Ed loses hisarm and leg!. Ed tries out for the Military as an Alchemist and makes it through but Al only gets through the written test before he quits!. Now, in an attempt to get his brother his body back and his arm and leg back, they go searching for the philosipher's stone!.
Many people new to the series believe Al is the fullmetal alchemist because his body is metal, but Ed is actually the fullmetal alchemist!.
