Question: What's up with DC!? Why are there no movies being made other than Superman or Batman!?
What about Green Lantern, Flash, Arrow, Blue Beetle, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, etc!.!.!.!.!.I am a huge DC comics fan and a huge Batman fan, but why is Marvel the only one really putting out all the movies!? Does DC comics not have any money or is there no money invested in the franchises!? Anyone care to explain!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Marvel is turning up the heat for sure!. Building this little "avengers" universe carefully, is, you have to admit very very strategic with the SHIELD project plot!.
My guess is we will eventually see a Superman sequel and quite possible, if done correctly a Justice League!. But as you know, if they cant closely cast it to match the other movies, we wont see it!. Whats killing DC is too many DIFFERENT people involved!. MARVEL has Stan Lee and a closer knit story telling group!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There have been other DC comics movies made such as Swamp Thing and Constantine!. For most of DC's history, there characters lacked character!. Marvel has a much richer history of character developement to draw on!. You have to admit that Superman come off as a bit ridiculous in his movies!. In the first he flies around the world so fast that he reverses time, just to save one life!. In the five movies made, he has fought the same guy four times!. I think DC is rather limited in stories compared to Marvel!. I would rather see Ghost Rider than any of the Superman movies anytime, but I admit that the most recent Batman movie is worth watching!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
DC has had to search for investors and studios that are interested in making movies about their characters since they don't have their own studio like Marvel does now, but they are finally trying to catch up!. Paul Levitz announced a bunch of movies based on DC characters that are in the works in addition to the new Batman and Superman movies including:

Whereas Marvel is REALLY pushing to crank out crappy movies like the Punisher, The Hulk, Elektra, X-Men 3, Spidey 3, Fantastic Four (both movies), yadda yadda!.
also, Justice League Unlimited set the bar REALLY high with their excellent storylines!. A live action movie could NEVER do the characters justice!. New Frontier was awesome!.
Batman the Animated series (the Emmy award winning one) and NOt that stupid Kids WB version, Batman Beyond, and Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker the unedited version were all really good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am a huge DC comics fan myself!. I've heard that there is talk of Justice League, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern movies coming out sometime between 2009-2011!. That would be cool if it happened!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Last I heard there was a JLA film planned before the Writers strike, but it was shelved!. at the time I think it had been planned as a launching platform for solo films for many Heroes!. (kind of the reverse of what Marvel is setting up w/ the Avengers)
as to why, its more about what sells, both Bats and The Boy Scout are proven commodities, and the 2 flag ship names under the DC brand, the thrid leg of "the Trinity" is Wonder Woman, but Films w/ female leads have a history of underperforming at the box office (unless of course for 'Chick Flicks' which are far cheaper to make that 'Superhero Movies')
