Give Mushishi a try~ it's very different from the usual Anime you find out there~ very unique!. It has brilliant art and beautifully told stories that compell you to feel for the characters!. The atmosphere of the Anime is very calm and watching it is relaxing!. It's like a whole 'nother kind of experience~ at least it was for me!. Hopefully you will feel the same ^__^

Most Anime fans get tired of seeing the same stuff after a while and that's when they venture out into genres they thought they wouldn't watch before~ it happened to me as well~ =P

Or you might also enjoy Monster!. It's a psychological/horror drama Anime series with an amazing plot~ that I think surpasses the brilliance of Death Note!. There are many twists and turns in the 74 episode series~ Monster is definitely on top of the Mystery genre of Anime!.
