I think that it's because some insects are sensitive to the light and because he shares his body with these insects he too has become a little sensitive to the light so that is why he wears shades!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, jk!.!.!. I think it's just for character effect, it adds to his whole "air of mystery," like he keeps his collar pulled over his mouth too!. He also doesn't really talk that much, and we don't really know much about his family or his past like the other characters!.

it's just his style!. his body is filled with bugs and he more or less just keeps to himself the fact that you never see his eyes just adds to his whole cool/creepy persona!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
