OK HOW THE HELL DID ICHIGO BECOME A
It is said that if your zanpakto is touched by the zanpakto of a vaizard your vaizard transformation will begin!. idk about aizen cuz i no hes a vaizard but idk how!. None of this happened to ichigoeveryone else had spread it from tousen then kensei then hyori and many others until they were kicked out of the SS!. Whoa are you serious about a vaizard transformation beginning if your zanpakuto is touched by a vaizard's zanpakuto!? I never knew that!
Anyway, I know there are two main ways of being a vaizard!. One is through the Hougyoku that Aizen was so desperate to get -- the Hougyoku is able to allow Shinigamis to transcend their abilities and gain Hollow powers (thus becoming Vaizards) as well as allow Hollows to gain Shinigami powers (like the Arrancars)!.
The other way, is how Ichigo became a vaizard!. Remember when Byakuya stripped him of his Shinigami powers!? After that, Ichigo went under Urahara's intense training to help him "regain" Shinigami powers!. I say "regain" because Ichigo already had those powers; they were merely lying dormant in him!. When Byakuya stabbed him and removed his Shinigami powers all he took from him were the powers Ichigo had gained from Rukia!.
Oops, digressed a little heh!. Anyway, during Ichigo's training with Urahara, Urahara cut his soul chain linking his soul to his body and imprisoned him at the bottom of a really deep pit!. If Ichigo doesn't manage to get out of the pit in time, he will turn into a Hollow because his soul chain will corrode over time!. Ichigo does make it out in the end, but only after he almost fully turns into a Hollow!. From then on, he's got Hollow powers inside him, and they're slowly becoming more awakened as in the later episodes the Hollow mask appears more and more frequently!.
Initially, Ichigo struggles with his inner Hollow and battles with it for control over his mind and body!. Ichigo is only able to keep his Hollow powers under control and use them to his advantage after the other Vaizards approach him and teach him how to do so!.
And about whether Ichigo will ever get on Aizen's level, I think he certainly will! ^^ So far, Ichigo has been made out to be a really strong character, rapidly becoming on par with Shinigami captains although he has only had a fraction of the time they had to get to the level they are at now!. I have never heard the first fact before and don't know if it is true!. But Ichigo gained his hollow mask in the beginning of the series!. After Byakuya defeated him and he was training with Urahara to get his powers back, he gained a hollow mask!. Watch episode 19 on youtube!.com and you will see him get his hollow mask!. We also do not know if aizen is a vizard or not!. But later no, whenever Ichigo was losing a battle, his hollow mask would appear to help him!. Now he can use it whenever he wants!. And I know it seems impossible for Ichigo to defeat Aizen, but a basic rule of anime is that the main character has to defeat the main villain!. well you do remember Ichigo's fight with Byakuya!?!?!.!.!.that was the first time that half Hollow mask came on his face!?/!.!.!.well there were other Vaizards contacted him and told him to join him but he refused!.!.!.!.then fearing that the Hollow inside him would control him, he goes to them for help!.!.!.they help him out!.!.!.first he has to battle the Inner Hollow within 60 mins or he'll become a complete hollow!.!.!.however he finishes in 69 minutes!.!.!.then Hiyori fights with him with the Hollow mask!.!.!.to train him to keep it for a longer time
