Answers:
This is the basic process!. It may vary somewhat from studio to studio!.

1) Idea!. Someone comes up with an idea for a movie, TV show, or other piece of animation!.

2) Script/Storyboard!. This is where the blueprint for the anime is laid out!. The storyboard is a series of drawings showing the camera angles, characters, and action in each shot!. This allows the artists to refine and edit the anime without worrying about the time and expense of tossing out sequence of completed animation!. Depending on the studio and project, the script may be written before the storyboard or after it has been completed and edited!.

3) Voice Recording!. Voice actors record the voices for the characters!. Depending on the production, this may be done before the animation is completed or afterwards, with the actors trying to match the timing of the completed animation!. At some point, additional sound effects are also recorded and added to the film's soundtrack!.

4) Animation!. This covers a lot!. Most anime is still primarily drawn by hand!. Animators draw the main poses of an action and either go back and fill in the inbetween drawings themselves or hand the drawings off to inbetweeners who draw the remaining drawings!. Background artwork is created, usually as paintings!. If there is any computer animation in the anime, computer animators build and animate the CG models!.

5) Cleanup, Coloring, and Compositing!. If the animators have been working in a rough style (which I believe is less common in Japan) cleanup artists trace over the drawings to create a final drawing with clean lines!. The drawings are then scanned into a computer and colored!. Backgrounds are scanned in as well!. The animation and backgrounds are then laid on top of each other in the computer!.

That's the basics!. There are other minor steps: additional editing, screenings of the uncompleted film, msuix recording, etc!. But that's the main process for any animated film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
