Answers:
The Viridian Collection is just a rerelease of anime!. Usually it's hard to find older DVDs, so Viridian comes along and makes more of them!.

The rule of thumb is that the Viridian DVDs will be cheaper- but may be missing some extra features or printouts!.

However, this is the first time that I have ever seen the Viridian Collection be offered as individual thinpacks (usually they are just a collection)!. The reason that this shocks me is because although the MSRP for the Viridian is $10 lower than the original, the original is so old that you can find them for only $6 (such as here: http://www!.rightstuf!.com/cgi-bin/catalog!.!.!. )!.

So DON'T purchase Viridian individual thinkpacks!. If you want to purchase the entire season of Burst Angel though, then you might consider going with them!. The boxset with Viridian is only $38 (http://www!.rightstuf!.com/cgi-bin/catalog!.!.!. ) for all 25 episodes!.

It still seems to be cheaper to go with the original DVDs since those prices have been cut ridiculously (to $6)!. Viridian is good if you can't find the DVDs (because they are too old), or if the DVDs haven't had their prices cut that much (like I saved money when I got the Gunslinger Girl Viridian Collection)!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
