Haha, sorry, I'm a rabid Alucard fangirl!. It's extraordinarily violent, bloody, deals with vampire Nazis and the rivalry between the Protestants and Catholics, and above all, it's AMAZING!.
However, don't watch the anime!. Watch the OVAs, they actually follow the manga!. There are only four out so far, but once you finish those you can start on book six of the manga!. They've even dubbed them, though, in my opinion, the dubs suck!. Watch the subbed version!.
Other vampire animes are Trinity Blood, Blood+, Vampire Hunter D (movie, actually, but it's still really good), Vampire Knight and Chibi Vampire!. They go in order of my faves!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Try Blood+, that is one of the BEST and has a bunch of vampires and some other blood sucking creatures!. Try Trinity Bllood and Vampire Knight, those are really goodWww@Enter-QA@Com
