When you say revenge, I assume you mean revenge for someone's death, since that is usually the case in anime!. Most revenge is personal, and so I would have to find a character that either had the same reason for vengeance, or someone who didn't care as long as they got to fight!. So I think Sasuke from Naruto would be good, or maybe Onime-no-Kyo from Samurai Deeper Kyo!.
