Question: Any suggestion for a good anime!? details inside!?
i want a comedy - drama , NOT serious, No serious fighting scenes!.!.
i've watched these animes so far:
- hanbun no tsuki ga noboru sora
- honey and clover
- zombie - loan
- canvas2
- nodame cantabile
- myself yourself
- death note, naruto and bleach are way too overrated
- i've watched also other popular animes like cardcaptor sakura, meritantei conan, tsubasa, etc!.!.etc!.!. i want any more suggestions because it's summer break and i have nothing to do here at home!.!. onegai shimasu! arigatou gozaimashita minna-san! :DWww@Enter-QA@Com

I'll tell you all the best animes i've watched!. Each anime will have a star ranking out of 5! 5= Amazing, 4 = very good, 3 = good, 2 = okay, 1 = crappy (im a hard grader!) :
*****Kodocha (kodomo no omocha): Really sweet anime!. Action/romance/comedy/drama!. Extremely funny, you actually laugh out loud! Not much fighting action but instead other types of action (kindof hard to explain) It's really funny and nothing too serious!. My favorite anime so far!. There're 102 episodes!. Yes there is school life as the main characters are in 6th grade and later on 7th grade!. It may seem a bit babyish but it's not!. There's subbed and dubbed!. But the dubbed is hard to find!.
*****Gakuen Alice: Quite short, 26 episodes!. also my favorite anime!. You said you watched cardcaptor sakura, so if you liked that, then you'll love this!. The main charactes are also 10 and are in 4th grade like cardcaptor sakura!. It's an action/comedy/romance/drama and there's also some adventure!. It's not serious or heavy!. Extremely funny!. It's in subbed and dubbed!.
****Inuyasha: Yes, it is long, 163 episodes, but you will love it!. It's a action/adventure/comedy/romance/drama!. It's a bit like naruto but with a bit less action and way more romance and some more drama!. It's NOT serious or heavy!. It does have some school life (but not that much) as the main character is 15 and in her last year of middle school!. There's subbed and dubbed!.
**** Mizuiro Jidai: 47 episodes!. Good romance/drama and some comedy!. Extremely sweet!. It basically the everyday life of an 7th grader!. There's only subbed, no dubbed!.
*** Fruits basket: It's quite short, 26 episodes!. It's a comedy/drama/romance and some action!. Not at all heavy or very serious!. There's no fighting scenes because it isn't an adventure, but there is some action in everyday life or school life!. There's a lot of school life as nearly all the main characters are in highschool!. There's subbed and dubbed!.
*** Fushigi Yuugi: 52 episodes!. It's an comedy/drama/romance/action/adventure!. It's like naruto but with WAAYY more drama and romance!. The begning isn't serious but towards the end it's quite serious!. There's a bit of school life as the main character goes to middle school (she's 15!.) There's dubbed and subbed!.
If i were you, i would look at the summeries i gave you and watch the first 2 episodes of each anime before thinking if it's good or bad!. Nearly every single anime i watched i thought it would suck but they turned out to be really good!. Here's a quick summery of all the animes i mentioned:

A CHEEKY ANGEL- this is the story of a boy who wished to become strong and mighty!. It turns out that the one he wished from isn't a genie or a fairy but a foolish small clown with magic powers ( considered as a dwarf)!. SO everything gets jumbled, and what happened with his wish of becoming mighty and strong!?he had a wished granted but the thing is he wasn't turned a strong and mighty guy yet he was turned into a lovely beautiful lady ( that's how they see her,accdg to the story), an angel looking girl that's why the title is a cheeky angel!.

I like the shorter, more meaningful films also!. I notice that you haven't seen many of the Studio Ghibli films!. They aren't anime series but you'll be impressed by the moving story lines and high quality animation!. Check out my link for a list of Ghibli films, all of them are great, but I would recommend starting out with the more popular ones: Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, or if you want a real heartbreaker, Grave of the Fireflies!.
If you're looking for anime series I am extremely surprised that you have haven't yet watched Cowboy Bebop, which is claimed by many who watch it as the best anime of all time!. I've seen it and loved it so much I bought the (expensive) official box set just to say thank you to Bandai for creating it!. It is 26 episodes long!.
Others your might watch out for are Yoshitoshi ABe's works, which are Haibane Renmei and Serial Experiments Lain!. Both are only 13 episodes long, but you'll spend more time thinking about the series than any other, they are very thought provoking!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
