Where and how do they get it!? Do they record it while watching it on T!.V and then upload it on cyberspace!? Or is there some other way!?

In Anime and Manga, a Raw is referred as an untranslated or unsubbed TV episode or manga chapter!. For Manga, people usually scan pages in directly, and sometimes convert colored pages (like in Shojo Beat) into gray scale!. For anime, raws are collected through either recording done via disc or done through PC-Tv Tuners!. Once captured, the raw is usually compressed into a !.avi file, then is distributed through out the internet, mostly through P2P sharing programs such as BitTorrent!. i suppose the producing company releases recordings once the show is aired, for a fee of course!. of course they dont videotape it, but maybe tivo!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
