According to a conversation between Ms!. Marvel and SpiderWoman shortly after the assassination, Steve Rogers is still alive, barely, in a stasis pod at a SHIELD medical facility!. They are keeping him in suspended animation because they currently aren't sure how to save him, but are working on a method of reviving him and restoring him to his previous state!.

Yes I think he's alive!. If Bucky can be alive, so can Steve!. I don't know many dead marvel heroes and Captain America ain't one of them!. He'll be back, it's just a matter of when!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
