Does anyone truly believe that Heath Ledger died because of his role as the Joke!

i dont think he died because the character overcame him, but the fact remains that he died from a bad combination of sleeping aids!.!.!.that he took as a result of insomnia brought on by how disturbing the character was!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't believe that Ledger died because he played the Joker, anymore than he died because he played a homosexual cowboy in "Brokeback Mountian!." I do know a local minister, who I have no respect for, who told his congregation that God had struck Ledger down for portraying a homosexual!. I'm sure there are some people who think Ledger died because he played the Joker!. If you look long and hard enough, you can probably still find a few people who think the Earth is flat, but that doesn't mean it is!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think some people can become so attached to a role that it takes over you!. I've read alot of people talk about how hard it is to do crying scenes because it's so draining!. Heath becomes every character he plays so it's possible for him to have taken it too far and not been able to snap out of it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
