I think that the movie was Awsome, and funny i really like tony stark being a jerk, and his press confrance at the end of the movie!. lol also Stan Lee camo in that move was priceless!.
The fighting i thought was alright it seemed really cool, but i am a guy who likes to see a almost robotic beatdown!. but i really thought the whole movie was pretty good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just my two cents, as a regular moviegoer-who-hasn't-read-the-comics!.!.!.
1!. Effects
Overall, the effects were fantastic, and most of it looked real!. =) Love the technologically advanced machines that Stark has in his house!.!.!.
2!. Robert Downey
His acting skills were awesome!. I'm glad that they didn't pick just another handsome face to play the superhero!. Of course, Robert Downey is one handsome hunk, but it's a damn good thing that they didn't get some pretty face to play the role!. Downey fits the role perfectly!.!.!. He acted every scene well - cocky and sarcastic, clumsy in romance, determined and passionate!.!.!. 5 stars acting indeed!
3!. American Saves the Day!
The plot is overused!.!.!. One of those typical superhero stories where an American would save the day at the end!.!.!. Not that I have a problem with it!.!.!. but we see this all the time, don't we!?
4!. VERY obvious product placement
Yes!.!.!. We all know Stark aka Ironman uses Mac, thank you very much!. The product placement is a tad bit too obvious!.!.!. almost to the point of being ridiculous!.!.!.
5!. The Behind-Every-Successful-Man-is-a-Sexy-Wo!.!.!. Stereotype
Hmm!.!.!. Not exactly a problem!.!.!. but again, an overused stereotype in superhero movies!. Wish the heroine played a bigger role besides the stereotypical PA-and-love-interest role, especially since she's such a good actress!.
6!. Another Transformers!?
Nope!.!.!. Despite awesome effects and shiny Suits, Ironman still can't beat Transformers as the Comic Book Adaptation of the Year!.
7!. True to the Comic!?
Like most comic book adaptations, it didn't stay 100% true to the comic!. Hey, they changed a Chinese man's nationality, but still kept his name!.!.!. Hmm!.!.!. puzzling, ain't it!? XD

It was a great movie!. the Robert Downey Jr!. choice was fantstic because he really caputred the abrasive nature of Tony Stark and he improvised some of the film's humourous moments!. Yeah, it varied a bit from the comics but when I say it varied I mean instead of being set in the Vietnam of the sixties it was set in the Afghanistan of today!.
Great effects and action sequences and all!.
My only problem with it was the obligatory romantic story!. In my opinion those are never necessary and without the romantic involvement that movie would have been jsut as good in what I've dubbed "Transformers Syndrome!."Www@Enter-QA@Com

The movie was better then the recent superhero movies being released!. The movie basically follows the comic, with some differences to make the story more relateable to today's audience!. The best part was Robert Downey, who successfully depicted the womanizing billionaire turned superhero!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
