Question: Name of this anime is killing me!?
I believe it ran on HBO or another movie channel like IFC in the states, what I can remember is it is set in some sort of future where guns are highly illegal and almost impossible to come by until evil bady comes along, the main character is some guy working for some special investigation thing with a robot/cyborg guy for a partner, and this guy is often chewed out for using too many bullits, like 20, and he also has some sort of special high power one for his pistol!. In one episode he discovers some secret layer making gun barrels and such, and another where group of badies are transporting gasoline, which is illegal and hard to come by, who then turn into werewolf men of sorts!.

Haha, I'm virtually 100% sure it's Heat Guy J; I only needed to read the first 2 sentences of your question to know which series it is (there isn't that many futuristic anime where guns are illegal and the main character is a cop with an ilegal cyborg partner and there's criminals that are turned into animals as criminal punishment)!.
It's a good anime, albeit I find the show to give me claustophobia when I watch it (it's something about the arquitecture)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
