I think you mean OVA, not OAV!. Fushigi Yuugi is a manga that was written by Yuu Watase which later on made into a series of 52 episodes by Studio Pierrot!. This was then followed by three Original Video Animation (OVA) releases, each having a different number of episodes!.

I think that Fushigi Yuugi (curious play) was like a series of mini bloopers i guess!. Because half the time they are making fun of the anime or the manga that either showed up on the anime or things that didn't show up in the anime but in the manga!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
