One last Bleach Question.?!

Question: One last Bleach Question!.!?
Okay so alot of you said that Bleach made filler episodes to stall the show, so they could make time for the normal series!.

What i dont get is why they made a filler series in the first place!?

What was the point of episodes 67-109!? Why didnt they just keep going on with the storyline!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because the anime will catch up with the manga!. And that's a very bad thing!. One anime episode equals one to three manga chapters and both are aired/published weekly!. Once the anime catches up, the anime will need to temporarily stop airing episodes so that the manga can set an adequate "amount" of story for a continuous anime production (at least one season = 24-26 episodes)!.

Anime producers often contend that it's better to create filler episodes than to temporarily halt the show since it might cause a slip in the popularity of the show!. also, mangakas (manga authors) always require anime production companies to maintain gap so that the mangaka can still earn money out of his/her manga chapters!. If the anime is very close with the manga, fewer people will buy the latest manga chapter since they will just wait for the equivalent anime episode!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because the anime and the manga are too close!.

If they are too close, then they need a way to stall it so the anime is not ahead of the manga so they need the filler to stall for the manga!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because they'd then have had to go on hiatus for a period- it'd be like the hollywood writer's strike but a thousand times worse!(since anime beats anything hollywood can dish out hands down)
When an anime is too close to the line of the manga there's the risk that it'll eventually be able to overtake the manga(since the manga runs slower than the anime, for instance a few chapters can easily be combined into a single episode sometimes)! At this point they'd HAVE to put in a filler arc or risk two continuities(which is often a bad thing as a franchise like Bleach is popular as an anime as well as a manga)!

So instead of rushing to fit in a filler arc at the last moment they do it as soon as they see the problem on the horizon!. Not only does this make for better planned out fillers, it helps the actual story in that the mangaka is now free to take it at his own pace and carry the series where it was supposed to go without bucking and compromising under financial pressure!Www@Enter-QA@Com
