I've never heard of dark horse style, but Dark Horse is a comics publishing company. They're the 3rd/4th largest American comics publisher, behind DC and Marvel, and usually tied with Image at about 5-6% market share. They don't have any one style, as they publish a variety of books based on different properties and from different creators. They don't do much with superheroes, and tend to deal in licensed properties such as Buffy, Star Wars, Alien, Predator, Terminator, etc. and dark and moody adult comics like Hellboy, Sin City, Concrete, and The Mask. They also release the American editions of many popular Japanese Mangas, such as Akira and Lone Wolf and Cub. They started that long before mangas were commonly available in America. I havent really seen the horse style yet though, maybe it is similar to the cowgirl ride. you know, the girl straddling riding like on top of the horse. isnt it right?
