Death Note anime 2 hour special ending?!
Question: it appears that in the death note anime they made a 2 hour long special, to which a shinigami approaches ryuk and asks him about the story of him going down to earth, and at the end, ryuk calls this shinigami light, as and the shinigami goes down to the human world, as if stating that light was going to go down there to rule as an actual god of death
does anyone have any opinions on my theory?

That is a pretty good theory, but ruling as a god of death, if that means dropping a deathnote and seeing what happens then hes def. ruling. ( light was always crazy) Ofcourse it can be that that the questionable shinigami is not Light, but i like to think it is him. I like your theory a lot, the whole special ending was quesitonable and i didnt understand what the hell happened with that shinigami, but i think i have the whole idea now.
well i think that when light become a shingami he dream came ture he was God after all lol
well ive read the end for the manga and if it has the same ending ur completely off.. i wont spoil it for u all i can say is tht the ending is dissapointing and stupid and ud be happier if u didnt watch it.
