She's Uzumaki Kushina from the whirlpool village.. At least now we know why he was named naruto.. There's a funny question that why did naruto use her mom's surname instead of his dad's.. If he was named using his dad's surname, it would be Namikaze Naruto? LoL!
What is the 4th Hokage? A kage is considered to be the most powerful ninja in the village. 'Ho' means fire and since Konohagakure is in the fire country, the kage will be called a Hokage.. And he's the 4th one.. There are also other kages like Gaara the Kazekage, Suikage, Raikage.. etc.. The 4th Hokage is Namikaze Minato.. He's the dude who sealed away the demon fox into Naruto.. He was also a genius a.k.a Tensai, the youngest person to be a Hokage ever and sadly he died the earliest.. Also naruto's dad!

Naruto's mother is named Uzumaki Kushina. She is from the whirlpool village and has orange hair. This is revealed in the manga. The 4th hokage is Naruto's father who is also seen in the manga, and is the one who sealed the Kyuubi inside of Naruto.
Naruto's mother was never mentioned in any episodes i saw in naruto.. And i think the 4th hokage is some kind related to naruto thats why he sealed the ninth tailed fox inside of him..
