Naruto - Understanding Gaara?!
Question: Does anyone really understand Gaara? Why is everyone so scared of him? He went through a lot. If people didn't make fun of him or treated him differently, he wouldn't need to do what he does.
I'm glad that the Sand village and the Leaf village are allies now. I like it better that way!

Gaara is my favorite Character. Seriously, i think Gaara is really hawt and cute. Kay, back to the topic. Everyone was so scared of him because he had the abilities of Shukaku ( one tailed beast/ 9 tailed beasts) He had the ability to wipe the whole sand country in one blow when he was little. Therefore, he was considered as the ' ultimate weapon' of the hidden sand. People were so scared he would do that, they didnt want to play with him. Gaara also resembles of Naruto. Naruto was lonely before, however, in this case, Naruto had a sensei that can relate on ( Iruka). Naruto also achieved to be accepted by doing things recognizable. Gaara on the other hand didnt have anyone to relate to. The only person who truly understands Gaara is his uncle ( who looks like a girl..LMAO) However, Gaara killed him...>M< pretty sad. Then, Gaara ever since wanted to kill everyone he sees..or hates atleast. Up untill he met Naruto, Gaara didnt change..always wanted to kill people. However, after he met Naruto and was defeated, he learned that he could be accepted if he worked hard, which resulted in being Kazekage.
You can also see flashbacks of him talking to Kankuro about Naruto changing his life. He was like...Up until now, no one was able to understand my feelings. But, But Naruto...Naruto was. Naruto changed my lives. From now on, I will work hard and surpass everyone, My dream, is to become Kazekage, Like Naruto. ( I reprased it in my liking..=D)

NARUTO WAS TREATED THE SAME,BEFORE IRUKA SENSEI LIKED HIM,BECAUSE HE WAS AN ORPHAN TOO.
ya whats up with people hating on gaara just because he is different the only onw who could relate to him is naruto they should be BFFs

if people wouldnt treat him like a monster, he wouldnt be like the way he was. he wouldnt live to kill everyone and only loving himself.
i guess naruto was treated the same because of the monster sealed within him. so, he understands how gaara really feels.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Just because Gaara's dad put that demon inside of him, everyone looks at him like he doesn't belong in the world. Nobody seems to realize that it isn't his fault that the demon is inside of him. And they also seem to think of him as the demon and not Gaara. After you think about it, if Gaara wasn't alive, that demon would be destroying everyone. They need to stop viewing Gaara as a threat and more as a hero. The same goes for the people in the leaf village on how they view Naruto.

Yea I know, people is treating Gaara TOO bad and he tries to protect the village even if he KNOWS people hates him...so kind of him, even though Naruto is one of my favourite character, but I still don't get why people can't treat Gaara like people treat Naruto?

he always talks about death..anyway, he was isolated because of the Shukaku the Ichibi (One-Tailed Demon Tanuki) inside of him...If Gaara sleeps Shukaku can take control, thats why he has the "eye liner"...lol

Chiyo imbued the demon Shukaku into the Kazekage's son Gaara. Gaara lead a lonely life until he met Uzumaki Naruto. He pledged himself to prove his worth and protect his village. His drive led him to become Kazekage. He was defeated in battle by Deidara and Akatsuki removed the Shukaku demon from within Gaara, killing him. He was later revived by Chiyo, but he was no longer a Jinchuuriki. He retained some sand control powers however.
