I'm finding that the fact that Marvel seems to have no problem steam-rolling over continuity is making me hesitant to spend time getting involved in the stories. Have you noticed that too?

I gave up on Spider-Man years ago, so I don't really care. I've basically given up on Marvel as well, and one of the reasons I'm not following any Marvel series is the lack of consistancy you mention.
WHAT! HE ISN"T!!!!? THAT"S TERRIBLE! I don't read them anymore but why isn't he married to her anymore? This is really upsetting!

Ever since Cap. America was killed off in a stupid way, I stopped careing about Marvel. I mean, why kill Cap by a stupid sniper? If Cap was going to die, it should of been in a glorious battle.
Same thing with Spider-Man. As if the Ultimate Spidey didn't suck enough, they have to mess with the legacy that Stan Lee created. But this is what happends when big studios hire non fans to write comics and movies...
I stopped reading spiderman once they changed the whole marriage thing, i guess it would have been okay if they didnt make Amazing Spiderman 3 times a month. I never really cared for the the other Spiderman series but now i dont even want to read this one.
