Ha ha! My cat does the same thing! One of them likes to watch some anime for some reason! I think it's kind of funny! :-P

A lot of cats get jealous when you give too much attention to something else, so it'll try to get in the way. xD
They can also attracted to the computer's warmth, or the things on the screen in general. If a lot of things are happening on the screen, the cat will get curious. For example, if you move around the mouse arrow a lot, some cats will paw at the screen trying to catch it. :D
Is trying to tell you not to watch that kind of movies.
