"love hina" for the normal fan
however if you want a sci-fi twist there is always the "tenchi muyo" series there are several spin offs of the first series and also do not watch "tenchy muyo gxp" until you watch the "tenchy muyo ova"
if you like sci-fi twist there is a little known treasure that is packed full of action it is called "Vandread" really it is one of the best i know of it may not have all the ocuord situations you find in most harem anime but it tugs at your heart and makes you fall in love with the charicters also it has been DUBed in english and the english voice acting is not half bad in fact i just finished this one not 15 minets ago so i know it is great
