I'm sad to say that the Marvel Whore would win.
Wolverine has survived having his heart ripped out, and his head chopped off (all in one comic) so I think he would beat Edward.
The way some comic writers write Wolverine's character, he can't die.
How exactly is Edward supposed to win against someone who has unbreakable (adamantium) bones, and a mutant healing factor? Short of hurling Wolverine into outer space, Edward will lose eventually because he's going to tire out. Wolverine, with his healing factor, won't get tired.
Yeah, OK, I suppose Ed could try to transmute Wolverine's skeleton into something else, but wouldn't that also violate the rule against human transmutations? It would probably end up destroying both of them...or at least turning them both into unidentifiable clumps of lumpy flesh as their spirits are ripped from what's left of their bodies.
I'm sure that the resulting battle would lay waste to several city blocks in the process though.
