The voice over would have to be really good for me to watch it. And the dialog would have to be just as good. "I'm your worst nightmare," isn't something I can imagine in an anime though.

I have some trouble doing that, considering that one of the films featured Rambo had him killing Orientals by the score.I guess there is always a market for lowbrow entertainment that features unbridled violence, but I think Rambo would only appeal to those who live in the States (and maybe a few Canadians and Brits). I can't see Japan, Korea, or China producing a Rambo anime, and I can't see an American cartoon being based on an icon like Rambo. I think American animation producers would pass on a Rambo cartoon, for fear of the headache of dealing with Action for Children's Television and such groups. I've also proven to be a poor prophet over the years, so I wouldn't be surprized to learn that Rambo cartoons will turn up on television next fall; I would be disappointed, however.
My first response is YUCK! Then I think about how a good anime producer might actually improve it, then I realize how abysmal it would probably be even with those improvements. Yuck!
