I wouldn't feel too bad if I didn't watch it that much. But right now I am a young adult who likes anime and mangas, so you tell me. In a way it is a waste of your life though.

Why do people assume that people who like anime must also be obsessed with it? Are all comic book readers like the Comic Book Guy on the Simpsons?
I'm an adult, and I watched anime as a kid (still do). I also watch western cartoons, and read books, and bake cakes, and draw pictures, and...anyway, lots of stuff. None of them were a waste of time because I don't spend an *excessive* amount of time on any one thing. Well, maybe books.
Anime is just a form of entertainment... There's plenty of "non productive" things that we do in our lives just because it is fun. Why should we stop doing that?
Have you ever watched tv? How pissed are you that when you die you will have pissed away all that time you spent uselessly watching tv in general?
Or maybe you didn't piss away your life watching tv- but maybe playing video games, or reading books, or asking questions on a Yahoo Answers forum?
Seriously, all this time that you have pissed away on Yahoo could be spent doing something useful- like saving peoples lives or something!
My only regret would be that I actually sat through all of Wolf's Rain. What a waste of time...
i dont think ill pissed away my youth by watching anime becasue anime rocks and rules..... its the best.... i love anime and i will continue watching it even in afterlife if that's possible.... i hope it is....
