shikamaru is the best. Not only is he the only chunin in the group but he also has an understanding for his team mates. he can workl out simple and effective plans and is willing to listen. He's pretty laid back and has acceptance twords other people (choji most of all). He is the ideal leader and would be a loyal and good friend to have not only for hanging out but also th fight under or with
Gaara- because in the beginning he hates every one, and loves only himself, but naruto inspires him to help others, and become good. so later on in shippuden we notice gaara is still the same but he has become a bit softer (just a bit) and has grown more as person. plus hes so mysterious, and how many characters do you know that control sand, and he's hott, but he doesn't even try to be, he just attracts lots of fangirls. ( im not a fangirl though, im just a general fan, because i like everything about him)
