I have always wanted to know does the boy who was raised by Batman, eventually become Batman. Only time will tell.
My favorite "super hero" is Plastic Man, but my all time favorite comic book character is Scrooge McDuck (a.k.a. Uncle Scrooge).
Despite liking many of the characters out there today I'd say my favorite character would be Nightwing.
He takes so many of his mentor's attributes but just mellows them down.
