The anime series Blood+ takes place after the movie, Blood The Last Vampire. I saw a bit of the movie, but did not care for it. Saya was way too much of a b****. In the series, she seemed more "human" and not such a killing machine as she was in the movie. The anime series was much better I thought. the characters were better in the series too.

before....its around the time the vietnam war took place (1959-1975)...yea....the forced her to awaken and she went crazy and killed a whole buncha ppl. thats why she kept having flashbacks in the series of the war and looking all bloodlust
