Question: Oh wow this has me so confused. I think I know what it means but I wasn't suree.. This is from Wikipedia.
In the end of the three hour special Director's Cut, Ryuk is sitting in a cave in the Shinigami world apparently speaking to a nameless shinigami, who left in the middle of Ryuk's tale. Ryuk comments that "The shinigami left because he knew the end of the story already. But he has not heard the end yet. I couldn't tell him I had to write his name in the Note, because I got bored of him, he was not interesting anymore. Isn't that right? Huh? Light?"
so does that make the nameless shinigami Light?

hmm...i think so... but at the end of book 12, it says that when you die, you just go into MU. (nothingness) So... that is a good question. (P.S. DEATH NOTE IS THE BEST MANGA/ANIME EVA!)
