Will 3D animation cause actors to be obsolete?!

Question: I've been thinking, today's 3-D animations is really getting more and more advanced. i've been wondering maybe 20 years from now, will Hollywood actors, celebrities become useless. i mean, it'd be cheaper to make full-blown 3-D movies with 3-D people instead of hiring actors and stunt actors. what do you all think?

I think 3d actors and sets will be used increasingly in the next 20 years. However, there will still be a need for new creativity, ideas, and personalities. Otherwise the movie industry, will become stagnant. Therefore the main actors will still need to be based in part on real people, even if their body form is embellished. 3d animation will make the experience cheaper and more amazing. The possibility of having 3d computer actors from the past, at their peak, such as Errol Flynn, Humphrey Bogart and Cary Grant, performing along side modern actors would be truly outstanding entertainment.

It certainly is possible, and I do see 3D animation becoming much more prevalent. However, I think 20 years is a little too soon. I don't think it will be quite cheap enough to replace everything.

But in a hundred years or so? Who knows? Only time will tell.

Are you kidding? No way. It doesn't matter how advanced technology gets, we'll always want real people on the screen. I think you've seen Simone too many times lol.

Unlikely, we'll never accept digital emotion as true emotion. At the core of us, we want to see real people living lives we've dreamed of or dreaded.

hmmm may it,s happen but not just as an actor can do
