Splitting Trust and Betrayal, very good idea ^^
1) Such a hard question for me. I really can't decide . . . no, I say Hellsing Ultimate ^^ I was thinking Black Lagoon though
2) I definitely agree, but since I am picking a different anime for the third I will say Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal
3) It's a tie between Elfen Lied and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. ^^ ........ Monster has a more effective use of blood, but there isn't buckets of it in every episode :p

Maybe Bleach since lots of blood kinda squirted out when someone got a cut... I don't watch too much anime, so I'm only limited to the anime that I've seen... -.-
There are answering limit in Yahoo Answers because it is meant for BOTH questioning and answering. If people go for answering more, then less questions will be asked. Same with questioning, since if more people questioning, then there will be less answering....
It also encourages Yahoo Answerers to answer more, since questioning will take off points, and make you want to level up to get to answer/ask more.

I think the point system for Yahoo Answers kinda balance things out. At first thought, you'll say it's not fair, but it really balance questioning and answering out... =)
(when I'm level 1 and 2, I get fraustrated plenty of times like you do!)
1) I'm not a fan of the action anime so I'm going to say Code Geass because that is really the only action I've watched.
2)I cried at the end of Ginban Kaleidoscope, a really good anime that no one seems to know about.
3) Ahh, my favorite. Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is the best. Blood! I hear Elfin Lied is pretty bloody but I haven't watched it personally.
1.) um, Devil May Cry (well, that one is the most action packed that I remember seeing. lolz)
2.) AIR!!!! oh my gosh, I almost cried like every single episode. T.T
3.) um, I don't watch a lot of nasty anime but possibly TOKKO, although, I kinda liked that one...
I don't know, but that's one of the reasons why I'm trying to get to a higher level.

1) Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, it has a name barely long enough to contain all the action packed explosions in it!
2) I can't decide between Wolf's Rain and Ergo Proxy. Both are pretty depressing, although I guess since everyone dies at the end of Wolf's Rain it's more depressing.
3) First thing that comes to mind is Elfen Lied, but I think I'll pick Hellsing or Hellsing Ultimate. Pretty gory...

I can't give you exact "titles" but I'll give off 2-3 each that come closest to your queries:
1. Action Packed:
-Fist of the North Star - If you want RAMBO! This gives you enough RAMBO that you'll give birth to your own Sylvester Stalone.
-Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi - may not be considered "action" violence-wise, but there's just so much happening on screen with all their parodies (in the background, through dialogue, costumes, etc.). That I've had to pause hundreds of times through the series to "get every joke & inuendo."
-Najica Blitz Tactics - You get a "pantyshot" every 2-3 seconds. Through the whole series!
-Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - This series oozes "adrenaline" through its movement, dialogue, music, & colors!

2. Saddest?
-Full Metal Alchemist - Ed's lost his mom, his brother's body, an arm & a leg, and he created an evil homunculus. What else can you pile on top of that?
-Gunslinger Girl - little toddler assassins being "painfully" experimented on, while they try to mimic any semblence of "normalcy" when going "undercover."

3. Nasty & Gory? I normally don't go looking for "gore." So I'll have missed on the "most" gory one out there.
-Berserk - man cleaving through enemies with a surf-board sized sword.
-Fist of the North Star - body parts were not mean to be crushed in that manner.
-Baki the Grappler - same as Fist of the North Star

1) Dragon Ball Z easily, guys with the power to destroy an entire galaxy fighting with fists and energy beams, nothing more action packed than that!
2) Wolf's Rain, that ending gets me every time :(
Trigun also has it's moments, but isn't as sad as Wolf's Rain.
3) Monster, Elfin Lied, Dokuro-Chan (xD), and Berserk are really the most violant of them all. I can't really decide between them, their all very bloody.
1) I haven't seen enough to really be good at comparing but I guess Bleach has the most fighting scenes, though Trinity Blood ain't bad either
2) Blood+ (there's always somebody depressed on that show, but at least it turns out alright in the end)
3) School Days maybe? That's a screwed up show
