This should explain everything...

EDIT:
Okay, maybe not everything.... But here are things I want to add:
=> A descent AMV should take VERY LONG TIME, so if you don't want a rushed-up AMV, you should expect hours on working this. One time, when I'm new to making AMV, I spent almost 2 hours on it, yet it's not that good, so yeah...... I gave up, which isn't a good decision...
=> You pretty much add music to it, download episodes you need for the AMV, "cut" the scenes for each episode into smaller part for an episode, put them in logical order, add effects, look at the AMV for any mistake, and finally save it and share it! =)
=> The Help tab should answer a lot of your questions, so just take your time to read and jot down some important things.
=> There are other Video Editor which is a lot better than Windows Movie Maker and yet it's free. Don't ask me which one though, since I never use/download any other Video Editor.

Take your time......... ^_~
.......Take your time.......

FeralNinja:
If you want a really rushed-up AMV, that'll take 1 hour, depending on the length of the song. It's not as simple as you think. I try it once, and making a "descent" AMV is already pretty hard. Ask someone who made a really good AMV. Most likely, they'll say days.

horay!!! every one is making an amv!!!

How hard is it? U pick a song. You pick the pictures and the videos you want. You put them on a timeline in Windows Moviemaker. You make it a meidia file. You post it on Youtube. Done!
Tell me when you finally finish it.
