Do you know of any good animes?!
Question: I really liked Bleach, Naruto, and Inuyasha. I also find FMA alright too. I like things with some action. I also like a good balance of funny and seriousness. I also LOVE to know about characters and their pasts and stuff. Does anyone know some good animes that fit with at least most of that description? (I know I'm kind of picky, but it's just who I am, sorry!)

Ayashi No Ceres (this show is full of action, character pasts, and hints of comedy)
Fushigi Yuugi (lots of action, SO FREAKING FUNNY I COULD CHOKE LAUGHING, and character pasts! Amazing, Amazing show!)
Any of the Tenchi series' should be okay
Rurouni Kenshin (great show! funny, serious, action packed, romance, cahracter pasts)
Yu Yu Hakusho (action packed, funny, serious, romance, character pasts)
Sailor Moon (Ima stop doin the desc. things, cause they'll all have the same thing)
Cowboy Beebop
Wolf's Rain
Weis Kreusz
Mermaid Forest (Awesome show! by the person who did Inuyasha)
Ranma 1/2 (also by the person who did Inuyasha)
Get Backers
Elfen Leid (bloody, very bloody)
Pettite Cossete (you can buy this whole series on 1 dvd, it's like, three episodes long. not much comedy in it, unless ghosts make you giggle)

The first Rurouni Kenshin OVA, Samurai X: Tsuiokuhen (Trust and Betrayal) is a work of art, a masterpiece that every anime fan should see. You should watch the series first though. The OVA tells of Kenshin's past. You can find it on Veoh.

Great slice of life, sci-fi anime, there's a lot more to it tho.
This anime has a very cool concept that I think makes it very interesting. It may take a few episodes for it to get going, but after that it gets better and better. It has one of the best endings I've ever seen.

Air - It′s funny and also cute 12 episodes
Bottle Fairy - It isn′t the greatest anime but it is good 12 episodes
ef A Tale of Memories - It′s new and it is interesting as well as cute 12 episodes
Fruits Basket - it is not new but it is reaaaally good 26 episodes
Gravitation - It′s shonen-ai but it′s good 12 episodes
Kanon - It′s harem and I like it pretty much, is interesting and have some fantasy 26 episodes
Loveless - Also shonen-ai but it′s good 12 episodes
Matantei Loki Ragnarok - It may not be very new as well as the others but still very good and mistery 26 episodes
Myself Yourself - I haven′t seen it completely but I like it 13 episodes
Ouran High School Club - I LOOOVE THIS! Really funny and romantic 26 episodes
Pita - Ten - It may be old but still cute and funny it′s maho shojo 26 episodes
Princess Princess - It′s funny and may have just a little of shonen-ai 12 episodes
Romeo x Juliet - It′s new and it′s obviously romantic with a bit of fantasy 26 epidoes
Shinigami no Ballad - Maybe nmot the best anime ever but still it is cute and short 6 episodes
Shugo Chara! - I LOOOOVE EVEN MORE THIS! It′s new that′s why there are only 19 or 20 episodes subbed out of 51, they are coming out so we will have to wait T_T but reaalaally good if you like maho shojo
Sola - Also new and it′s interesting and has fantasy 13 episodes
Spiral - It′s about mistery 25 episodes
Sukisyo - Also shonen-ai but it′s cute 12 episodes
Utawarerumono – It′s shonen and talks about war but it′s funny and have some action 26 episodes
Zero no Tsukaima - It′s funny and talks about magic it has two seasons each one of 13 episodes
